Our Gratitudes: Thanksgiving 2023

As we look forward to spending time with loved ones this Thanksgiving, we can’t help but take a moment to express our gratitude for all the significant things that have taken place this past year. With so much change and growth within our studio, we are beyond grateful to all those who contributed in their own way to this journey.

So, if you don’t mind, we’d love to highlight a few of the things we are most proud of as we reflect on this amazing year.

#1 Gratitude for Our Cherished Clients

At the heart of our success lies our incredible clients, who have not only entrusted us with their projects but have also become dear friends along the way. Working alongside them, we’ve come to learn and share in their hopes, dreams, and joys as we’ve cultivated their homes. Each unique and inspiring project motivates us to push the boundaries of creativity in our designs, and we cherish the memories made along the way. We are thankful for our clients’ continued trust and support.

#2 Gratitude for Our Growing Team

It seems like not long-ago Parkway East Design was still only a husband-wife team in its humble beginnings. Yet, here we are with one of the most supportive teams we’ve had the privilege to gather. We could never have come this far without our talented members. Their dedication and generosity as they share their talents and skills have strengthened all of us and helped our studio grow. We’ve been richly blessed to have a team that truly emulates our values. We’re thankful for their passion, creativity, and camaraderie, and look forward to future additions to the team.

#3 Gratitude for Our New Studio

This year has included another exciting milestone – acquiring a new studio! Our new location opens up even more space for our team to grow and gives us a dedicated space of our own to cultivate over the coming years. Already we’ve loved the effect it’s had on our workflow. Whether sorting fabric and material samples, laying out client presentations, or collaborating as a team, we love how the new studio is beginning to take on aspects of our design. We’re thankful for the new opportunities our new studio affords us and look forward to sharing glimpses behind-the-scenes with our clients, new and old.

#4 Gratitude for the Many Opportunities

At its conception, Parkway East Design faced challenges amid the pandemic, not the least of which included significant delays within the industry. Yet, persevering through the obstacles and with a little extra patience, this year we’ve watched long-awaited projects finally come together. And while it is bittersweet to have these projects come to a close, we love seeing our clients finally able to enjoy their new homes. Seeing how much they love their design makes all the hard work and hours spent worth it. We’re thankful to have been a part of these projects and for all the memories we’ve made along the way.

There are so many more things to be grateful for; we wish we could list them all! We hope you too will take a moment during this season of thanksgiving to reflect on all of your blessings this past year and express those things which have meant the most to you along the way. Those are often the most important things to share with one another.
