OUR STORY
In 2020, husband and wife Douglas & Eleena set out to establish a design studio with a simple goal: to uplift and inspire through thoughtful design. Joining talents, they made the move to St. George, Utah, to lay the foundation for their vision. More than just designing beautiful spaces, they desired to cultivate deeply personalized homes that encouraged their clients to live their very best lives.
Not everything was all sunshine, however. With the onset of a global pandemic, difficulties and disruptions were quickly felt across the industry. Despite these precarious circumstances, however, these challenges became opportunities for a budding studio to test its perseverance and creativity. Drawing strength from one another, they strove to be a support to clients and partners in their time of need to help weather the unexpected storms and preserve their vision.
Today, our team is growing! Sharing our talents and experience, the studio has become a collaborative center for each of our projects. We’ve been richly blessed to work alongside our remarkable clients, builders, architects, and more who entrusted us with a personal part of their lives. We look forward to the many wonderful years ahead.

DOUGLAS SPECK
CEO | Co-Founder
Douglas’ inquisitive nature has garnered him a wide range of experience, unexpectedly leading him into the world of design. His passion for learning has him always seeking after the good, the true, and the beautiful in whatever form it can be found.
ELEENA SPECK, NCIDQ
Principal Designer | Co-Founder
Eleena’s love for design was nurtured at an early age, growing into a lifelong passion. From working on multi-million-dollar residences and religious buildings to small interior projects and staging vignettes, her kind, uplifting, and energized spirit comes through in all she does.
COURTNEY GROB
Interior Designer
Courtney’s personable approach delivers designs that are not only beautiful and detailed but bespoke to the client. With experience working on multiple high-end homes, her focus on environmental psychology and precision continues to inspire and shape the creative vision behind each project.
Anne Szymanski
Interior Designer
Anne’s connection to interior design is deeply rooted in her love for architecture, materials, renderings, and chairs. With a creative vision and passion for curating influential spaces, she is excited to bring her talent to each project.
Ellie Boren
Marketing Coordinator
Ellie is thrilled to be back home in beautiful Southern Utah, working with the Parkway East Design team. With a passion for marketing and business, she loves to work behind the scenes in the fascinating Interior Design industry.

Shaantai’s passion for people, culture, and systems comes through with her approachable personality. With a background in branding, operations, and design, she is excited to use her skillset to elevate the client experience.
